One of 13 venues which make up the House of Blues franchise, the House of Blues Anaheim is currently owned by Live Nation - giants in the field of entertainment venues. The House of Blues brand was the brainchild of Isaac Tigrett.
The House of Blues Anaheim first opened its doors to the public in 200. Located in the city's famous Downtown Disney, the House of Blues Anaheim stands out from its sister venues for being the proud home of the Quilts of Gee's Bend--pieces of which date back as far as the 1900s. Another unique feature of the House of Blues Anaheim is the unique Rose Terrace which lines the venue. Like the other House of Blues venues, the House of Blues Anaheim has stuck to its roots by displaying the “Crazy Quilt” and keeping a box of Delta Mississippi mud underneath its stage - a gesture to ensure that each performer will have the "spirit of the South" beneath their feet.
