Doom Syndicate: DooM Syndicate has been cultivating their style of metal since the late 1990s, meeting many friends along the way and quietly helping forge a new sound of east coast flavor. Like there brothers in bands like Lamb of God, Dying Fetus, Unholy Ghost, Pessimist and new found brothers in Gwar, they have an east coast metal sound that has to be heard. Unfortunately, being tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains, nothing much but echoes had gotten out. DOOM SYNDICATE has done small tours with friends in the Los Angeles band Crematorium and later Dying Fetus here on the east coast. Crowds on both coasts were amazed with the technical and driving sound, leaving people to wonder where have these guys been? Every show reactions are the same, whether playing with national acts or not, people were so satisfied they left after DOOM finished performing and picking up every piece of merchandise of the band available from licensed stuff to band made gear.(we still cany keep authentic doom merch in stock get it while you can!) At some shows thinking they were the headlining act, even with proven national acts yet to play! Finally this led to a headlining tour in autumn of 2004 with Fireborn as support act and Doom getting national attention and CD release through a rcr records from Chicago. DOOM SYNDICATE has shared the stage and the road with bands such as: DEICIDE, CREMATORUIM, ALL THAT REMAINS, BONGZILLA, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, ORIGIN, IMMOLATION, EVERY TIME I DIE, DYING FETUS, GOATWHORE, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, PESSIMIST, NILE, SPACEHOG, DECEASED, PRIME STH, NULLSET, LAMB OF GOD, GRAVE, HATRED, SUB-ZERO, DOPE, KARMA 2 BURN, MORTICIAN, RINGWORM, DAVE BROCKIE EXPERIENCE, GWAR, DYING FETUS, END OF ALL, DREAMSCAPES OF THE PERVERSE, TODAY IS THE DAY, REFLUX,THE VIRUS, CATTLE DECAPITATION, LAZY AMERICAN WORKERS,SUFFOCATON,MACABRE, KATAKLYSM, VADER,6 FEET UNDER,BURNT BY THE SUN and countless others. Way too many bands and clubs to mention, spanning the entire U.S. Points of interest include headlining the 2003 Milwaukee metal fest Relapse stage and playing the first ever Las Vegas Metal Fest as well as co headlining the 2004 Metal-Nation.com..s Snake Fest in North Carolina to a headlining tour in late 2004 as well headlining the SWVA METAL FEST in 03 and 04 and preparing for this years now headlining the swva rock fest 07-09 and preparing for a us tour in 2010!! The members that make up DOOM SYNDICATE are an assortment of hardcore metal heads ranging from Scott/lead guitars (ex-HATE CYLINDER, DEATH OF MILLIONS AND METAGOR) with an extensive metal background. Chip/bass (ex-BAD TRIP AND SUFFUSION) a long time metal head with various influences as well as a love for the bass itself. Bryan/guitars(ex-Aggressor State), a prodigy from SWVA who plays as good as his father did in Sudden Dismissal! . JR/ vocals(ex hate cylinder) whose old school punk hardcore styling from his youth, combined with his love of pure death metal, made him a perfect fit. Dan/drums (ex-MURDER MAJESTIC) whose double bass black metal hardcore pounding background fit the sound DOOM SYNDICATE had been striving to reach for years. Doom Syndicate has more than done the impossible, by putting together a true strong line up in the face of adversity and oppression. Keeping a strong sense of musical direction even when the scene looked hopeless and metal seemed to be lacking true power and heart. There extreme metal sound which is by far the heaviest and most innovative compared to their peers, They are the missing link to the puzzle of the east coast heavy sound. Make no doubt when you hear and see them live, you will know what armageddon is. Prepare for the worlds only post apocolyptic hardcore metal!!!! -

The Faceless: Michael Keene - Guitar, vocals Steve Jones - Guitar Derek Rydquist-Vocals Brandon Giffin - Bass Michael Sherer - Keyboards Nick Pierce - Drums

Goatwhore: Goatwhore guitarist Sammy Duet (formerly of Acid Bath and Crowbar) is fucking stoked…not only because his cats have apparently developed fine tastes in brutalic black metal ("My cats freak out when I play Fog, Through The Eyes Of Night! They'll sit in front of the goddamn speakers and chill out!"), but because the notorious six-stringer has quite triumphantly survived another Goatwhore outing. Fittingly titled A Haunting Curse - an idea Duet's been toying with since the band recorded 2003's Funeral Dirge For The Rotting Sun at the allegedly haunted Noise Lab Studios, in addition to over two years of various band trials and tribulations - the disc serves as the band's third installment of their signature brand of blackened pummel, coming at you for the first time via the legendary Metal Blade Records.

But for Goatwhore, no studio effort comes without its share of catastrophes. Where Funeral Dirge followed a near-fatal van crash that left Goatwhore/Soilent Green frontman Ben Falgoust temporarily confined to a wheelchair and the very future of the band uncertain, the creation of A Haunting Curse saw the New Orleans four-piece - Duet, Falgoust, drummer Zack Simmons and bassist Nathan Bergeron - fleeing the flood waters of 2005's harrowing Hurricane Katrina. If there is indeed a God, she's certainly no fan of the 'Whore. But the say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. In the case of Goatwhore, they're stronger, harder, meaner and pissed the fuck off. Goatwhore are back with a magnified vengeance! But perhaps we should rewind a bit...

Cannibal Corpse: Formed in 1988, Buffalo born/Tampa raised Cannibal Corpse helped found, manipulate and transcend the very boundaries of death metal beginning with the scandalously controversial debut, Eaten Back To Life. Raising the eyebrows of inquisitive metalheads and incensed parents and politicians, the record — produced by Scott Burns at the now renowned Morrisound Studios — was more extreme and confrontational than anything the metal genre had ever known. As a result of the band’s brilliantly gruesome cover art, grisly lyrics and song titles like “Hammer Smashed Face,” “Meat Hook Sodomy” and “Addicted To Vaginal Skin,” follow-up records Butchered At Birth (1991) and Tomb Of The Mutilated (1992) were met with further contempt by the likes of such organized censorship leagues as the PMRC. In just three years, the sale of Cannibal Corpse merchandise was (temporarily) prohibited in Australia, Korea and New Zealand (in fact, the sale of Butchered At Birth and the performance of those three records is still forbidden in Germany). But dissuaded they were not.

Proving technical dexterity, diabolic vocal grunts and a penchant for serial killers, zombies and gore of all shapes, sizes and textures, Cannibal Corpse won over the hearts of many a metal extremist and have since become a harrowing household name. Since the bands inception they have sold millions of albums world wide and show no sign of slowing or bowing down to the ever changing metal genre. Massive tours throughout the U.S. and Europe as well as Australia and South America only underscored the band’s staying power…and all this with zero commercial radio presence and minimal video play (although the band did appear in the Hollywood blockbuster, Ace Ventura – Pet Detective).

Job For A Cowboy: In a little over a year after their solidified line up, 2 years after their conception, Job for a Cowboy has made Their debut EP, Doom, released in December on King of the Monsters (The Locust, Breather Resist, Creation Is Crucifixion). The band spent a months in preperatoin in order to record the most powerful album they could. In songwriting, they consistently seek out opportunities to challenge themselves in mastering levels of technical achievments found in their wide range of influences.

The bands versatile fan base has allowed them to share the stage with everyone from As I lay dying and Dillinger Escape Plan to Origin and The Acacia Strain to Haste the Day and The Red Chord.

With the oldest member still in high school, Job for a Cowboy is striving to remaining loyal to their D.I.Y. roots, the band has decided to spend the next year touring in promotion of their EP on their own.

Veil Of Maya: The midwest is a place that is overlooked by many... It is too bad because the midwest has given birth to some of the most progressive metal bands to come out in a long time. VEIL OF MAYA hails from the suburbs of Chicago and having played regionally and toured for 2 years in support of their debut full length "ALL THINGS SET ASIDE" on Corrosive, they have definitely made some waves...
